Have you always wanted drivers to slow down in your neighbourhood? If yes, then follow these five easy steps and you will be well on your way to making it happen!

Step 1: Join or create a community or school group interested in speed reduction in your neighbourhood.
Step 2: Go to www.safekidscanada.ca and read about the Walk This Way pedestrian safety program which is offering grants to select communities to implement a pace car program.
Step 3: Read about the pace car program and its goal to reduce pedestrian injuries among Canada children, by making communities more walkable and turning drivers and their cars into mobile speed bumps.
Step 4: Convince your community or school group to apply for a grant.
Step 5: Submit your application to Safe Kids Canada by August 27, 2010!
We look forward to reading your application!
