Safe Kids Canada collaborates with Provincial/Territorial Lead Agencies to work toward a common goal of reducing the incidence and severity of unintentional injuries in Canada.  Safe Kids Canada and the Lead Provincial/Territorial Agencies share the same vision – to reduce injuries. Despite having varying mandates related to injury topics and geographical scopes, each member organization shares many goals and objectives and recognizes the necessity of collaboration at all levels – local, regional, provincial, territorial and national – to effectively prevent injuries.

The shared mandate of the Safe Kids Canada Provincial/Territorial Lead Agencies is to develop a framework for collaboration and coordination of our existing injury prevention research, knowledge translation, programming, and advocacy in an effort inspire a culture of safety among the general population, workplaces and governments in Canada.
