Advocate for chidren's health and safety

Safe Kids Canada advocates for changes to policy, standards and legislation to keep children and youth safe. We work on a broad number of safety and injury prevention issues, including all-terrain vehicles, child passenger, helmet, pedestrian, products and safer pool fencing laws. Effective advocacy requires a multi-pronged approach that includes knowledge and evidence as well as broad-based support for initiatives and changes to occur.

Safe Kids Canada recognizes and appreciates the support of our partners and concerned parents in advocating for the health and safety of children and youth. Everyone can be an advocate for safety by becoming informed on the issues and taking the necessary steps to express concerns to government, political officials and other stakeholders.
